Managed Burn
As the Blue Hour fell in Yosemite, the orange glow of a managed burn shimmered through the trees. Managed burns are vital to help keep down the fuel on the forest floor to prevent larger wildfires. Yosemite's fire staff work hard every day to prevent catastrophic fires and control them quickly when they do start.
