Yosemite Falls Moonbow 1
In Spring, when the snow runoff is high and the waterfalls have mighty flow, something magical happens around the full moon. If the moon is in just the right spot in relation to the mist from the waterfalls, a moonbow is created! To the naked eye, which is not good at seeing color in dim light, it looks like a spectacular pure white rainbow, but the camera picks up the color and shows the even more magical beauty of this rare phenomena.
