Puerte de La Mujer, Buenos Aires 3
Tourists, perhaps taking their cue from visitors to the Pont des Arts of Paris, where lovers place engraved padlocks on the railing and throw the key in the water to signify their undying love, have adorned the Bridge of the Woman with padlocks. What does it say, to place a lock on a bridge named The Bridge of the Woman? What sort of man would want to carve his name- Bear- into metal and affix it to her permanently?
